The Herd2Health Vision: Where Personal Healing Meets Planetary Health
In my first post, I shared the journey that led me from debilitating chronic illness to vibrant health—a transformation that required not just medical intervention, but a complete reimagining of how I related to my body, my food, my environment, and my deeper purpose. That experience taught me that true healing happens when we align ourselves with natural principles, both within our bodies and in our relationship with the world around us.
Today, I want to share the vision that has emerged from those lessons: Herd2Health, a holistic health coaching practice that recognizes the inseparable connection between personal vitality and planetary wellbeing.

Having experienced firsthand how removing inflammatory foods and aligning with our evolutionary blueprint can reverse seemingly "incurable" conditions, I've seen the power of eating whole, unprocessed foods while avoiding the modern dietary pitfalls that contribute to chronic disease. The Primal Blueprint goes beyond diet to encompass sleep optimization, stress management, and movement patterns that support long-term vitality.
Unified Mindfulness Training Shinzen Young's Unified Mindfulness system forms the backbone of our mindfulness coaching. This isn't meditation as mere relaxation—it's a precise, powerful technology for working skillfully with sensory experience. In my own healing journey, it was through deep mindful awareness that I was able to transform my relationship with pain and inflammation. Unified Mindfulness provides practical tools for developing concentration, clarity, and equanimity that can be applied to any challenge life presents.
NASM's Optimum Performance Model Physical fitness coaching follows the National Academy of Sports Medicine's systematic approach to human movement. The OPT model progresses clients through stabilization, strength, and power phases while addressing individual imbalances and movement dysfunctions. Having rebuilt my own body from injury and chronic illness, I understand the importance of meeting people where they are and progressing safely toward optimal function.
Circular Strength Training Scott Sonnon's Circular Strength Training brings flow, mobility, and joint health into our fitness approach. This system recognizes that true strength includes not just force production, but also flexibility, coordination, and the ability to move with grace through complex ranges of motion. It's particularly valuable for those recovering from injury or dealing with the physical limitations that often accompany chronic illness.
